The Manchester City player Sergio Aguero believes that his countryman Lionel Messi deserves the award of FIFA for the best footballer for 2016.
Last year, the five-term winner of the Golden Ball scored 51 goals for Barcelona and helped the team to win a second straight shot in Spain. According to the Spanish press, however, the award of FIFA will go into the hands of Cristiano Ronaldo.
'Messi is far ahead of other players, including the other nominees. I am not saying that just because he is my friend. I train with him and see the things with my own eyes.`, Sergio Aguero said.
'He does things I have never seen by anyone else. He is the best and he makes things look so easy, it is amazing. Leo is the best on the planet!`
'All you have to do is say hello to find out what a good boy he is. Many people do not know how humble he is off the field because he does not like to appear on television and in public places. He is a regular guy, who gets along well with everybody.`, added Sergio Aguero.
