De Gea holds United in chess

The Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is not in a hurry to renew his contract with the club, and may not do so at all. According to The Telegraph, a meeting between his agent, Jorge Mendes and the Red Devils, was held in London last Friday to discuss the extension of the Spanish national contract, but the two sides have not reached an agreement. The present deal of De Gea is until the summer of 2019, but Old Trafford attempts to keep it for the longest period. So far, the club`s efforts have not worked, and the cause is not financial. De Gea is not convinced that United will have the strength to fight for trophies on the domestic scene as well as in Europe.

If the Spaniard finally refuses to sign a new contract, United will have to sell it so he will not risk losing him as a free agent. It should be noted that the English Grand has an option to extend De Gea`s contract by 2020, but that will not change much if the guard himself decides he wants to leave. De Gea is on Old Trafford since 2011, when he was drawn from Atletico Madrid. He already has over 300 Red Devils.

Kovacs:I`m excited about Neuer, we can rely on Lewandowski

Bayern Munich (Munich) new coach Niko Kovac is very pleased to be able to rely on goalkeeper Manuel Neuer in the first Bundesliga season match. As it is known, the guard missed almost all of the past season because of a broken leg. Manu is the leader but not just Bayern. He is also the captain of the national team. He is someone whom the rival only respects because of his presence. So I`m very happy to come back tomorrow, `Kovac said, who also said a few words about the physical condition of Hamers Rodriguez. There are always two definitions of physically ready - that of the player and that of the coach. Which one is about him, we`ll find out tomorrow, was his mysterious comment at the press conference before tomorrow`s Hoffenheim match.

The topic of team star Robert Lewandowski was not overlooked either. Last year I was not here, so I have to assume that it might not have received the support that everyone needs. But he has a head on his shoulder s. So far, he scored four goals, each of which was important. We can count on him. Our conversations were very productive. I am with him not as a coach, but as a person. I`ve been through such periods in my career as a player. That`s why I could understand it, Croatian explained. Finally, Kovac also spoke about the title defense in the Bundesliga. Talking about this is one thing to do is totally different. You can have big dreams, but can they be realized? This is the most important. It is good that the championship mentioned by 11livescore is finally starting. Seven weeks of preparation was a long time, but now we are in shape and in good mood, he added.
