Croatia vs Portugal

Croatia and Portugal will play the third round of 16 of the Euro 2016. The derby is on Saturday (June 25). The chief referee of the match is determined Spaniard Carlos Karbajo Velasco, with assistants Alonso Fernandez and Yuste Jimenez. Here is our soccer forecast.
The match Croatia - Portugal will be one of the most disputed and difficult to predict from the tournament adviced by live scores semifinals.
When we talk about Portugal, it always comes the name of Cristiano Ronaldo, as undoubtedly he is a very good footballer, which mistakenly directs us that his team should be the winner. It is precisely this illusion cost significant resources of a lot of bettors of Portugal, and the team failed to win a single game of the group stage.
If we are realistic and looking through Cristiano Ronaldo, then we will see that the players of Croatia put together, as a team are much better than those of Portugal. The players of Daniel Subasic are with classes over these of his colleague Rui Patricio. Carvalho can`t compete with Vedran Corluka, like similar examples abound, and in fact, it remained only Ronaldo, but he just is not enough for Portugal to beat even outcasts like Hungary.
Croatia is our favorite in this meeting, as well as one of the favourites to win the trophy. The team especially brightly shines in the last round of the groups when it fared over Spain and finished in first place. Croatia was the underdog against the Spaniards, and it is justified, but in the end, after several good attacks `the chess players` have reached their goal, it should be noted that Croatia was without several of its key players such as Luka Modric, who has suffered from an injury.
On Saturday, Croatia will have all their available stock. Portugal also has personnel problems, but we don`t see how we will eliminate this rival, especially with what he demonstrated as a game to date. The victory will not be easy for the Croats, but as we saw their game against Spain, they feature very well physically prepared players, who will play at full speed until the end of the match, as opposed to those of Portugal, which, after the 60th minute of the game already play a completely different way.
Our soccer prediction is 1.

The pajamas of Kirali enters the history

Football fans remember him from the mid-1990s because of his wide grey tracksuit jogging track, which became known on the European terrain. Gabor Kirali did not have a remarkable career in big teams on the continent, but for Hungary, he is a true legend. Today the goalkeeper will play his game no 104 for the national team, wearing his famous pajamas. That is how everyone calls his trousers. The derby, except the return of Hungary after a 30-year absence from the big stage, is also very significant for Kirali. He broke the record of Lothar Matthaus for the oldest player at the European finals. Today he is just at the age of 40 years, 2 months and 14 days, and the former record holder Matthaus was 39 years and 91 days, when he played at the Euro 2000. The thing that attracts the most attention in Kirali, however, undoubtedly is his choice of a team. Since 1997, the goalkeeper has been always with grey bottoms of the jumpsuit. \'I tried to wear shorts while I was in Germany, but I\'m not comfortable.\' \'In the end, the result is more important than appearance. I\'m not a top model but a goalkeeper, and my job is to protect our door. I play on hard pitches, and this causes my wounds. I always take the same size top to feel comfortable when I move.\', Kirali explains. The media in Hungary see the seasoned goalie as the key figure in the team, and specialists rely much on him. Except for Kirali, the Magyars have also two players with a lot of matches behind their backs - the 37-year-old Zoltan Gera and the captain Balázs. Others, however, have never played in such big games.
