The Munich team ranks second in the Bundesliga first half season, falling six points from leader Borussia (Dortmund).
'Looking back at these first six months, I can not deny that they were quite emotional. We had both good and bad moments. Most importantly, we are on the right track. For the first time in 10 years, Bayern ended the group stage in the Champions League without losing, while continuing to fight for the Cup and the Cup. I think we have regained our confidence and the boys are extremely motivated to give everything in the second half of the season and to take on a fierce battle for the title of Dortmund!', Kovac told FC Bayern TV. I managed to do it for now!', continues the former Croatian national.

'I think we played some pretty good games. For example, at the beginning of the season against Schalke 04, we won 2:0 and we all dominated the match. As in the last rounds, especially against Hannover 96. But there are also fights I`m not happy about, Kovac answered a question in which games he was most pleased with his players. Everything happens extremely fast in our sphere. If something was nice yesterday, it is no longer today. It is important to keep calm. My coaches have always been repeating this for years. Luckily, I`ve worked with pretty good specialists, and I never panic!', Kovac says.

'Liverpool is a great rival and a great challenge - both for me and for the players. But before that we have five matches for the championship analyzed by contact football tips and one for the Cup. We need to concentrate on this, and only then look at Champions League. We will be perfectly prepared, he says in the Champions League draw.
