Robin van Persie is officially a player of Fenerbahce, the Turkish giants confirmed. The 31 years old Dutchman has arrived in Istanbul early in the weekend, but the finalization of the deal has been delayed, as Van Persie was negotiating his personal terms, as well the compensation which he wanted to get from Manchester United. It is assumed that the "Reds" will take for the attacker about 6 million Euro.
Van Persie scored 58 goals in 105 appearances for Manchester United after being allured to "Old Trafford" of Arsenal in 2012. The Dutchman spent a total of 11 years of his career in England. At Fenerbahce he will join another former of Manchester United the player Luis Nani, who recently also signed with "the canaries".
Van Persie will be the highest payed player of Fenerbahce.
