United States wants extradition of those people, arrested for the corruption scandal

The Swiss authorities announced that the United States formally requested the extradition of the seven FIFA executives, who were arrested in may for corruption and bribery.
'On July 1, the United States Embassy in Bern sent a formal request for extradition within the period provided for in the bilateral agreement.`, said the Swiss Prosecutor`s Office.
The United States had to submit their requests for extradition until July 3.
BGNES recalls that shortly before the election for a new President of the world soccer power plant, several high-ranking officials from FIFA in Zurich were arrested on charges of corruption. Among those who were arrested are the Vice Presidents of the Organization Jeffrey Web and Eugenio Figeredo, as well as the former Vice President, Jack Warner.
