Football live goals FIA President on Verstappen`s community service: Max was actually very happy about this opportunity

The FIA President spoke about Verstappen`s reaction to community service. Mohammed bin Sulayem said that he spoke with the reigning F1 champion during the race weekend in Qatar and told him that community service would actually mean communication with junior drivers as part of the grassroots motorsport development program fromAutomobile Club of Rwanda.
According to bin Sulayem, Max, through his example, can inspire young athletes to work harder and strive for their goals.
In general, this is a funny story - we talked about the need to monitor the purity of speech and do it constantly. It is clear that Max is still very young, he said only one word (obscene) and the stewards immediately punished him with community service.
I met him in Qatar and told him: Max, don`t worry, you (while doing the work) will need to inspire young guys who want to get into motorsport.
And Max was very happy about it. I myself was a champion in my region in the Middle East for 20 years, and the people who helped shape me as a person are also the fans.
And these are not the fans who come from far away or with whom you interact on the Internet, on social networks. Real fans are people who are around you, when you can meet them, sit with them, when you feel their presence.
So this is an important part of the job for a Formula 1 champion and ambassador. And if we are talking about the issue of developing diversity, then what could be better than Max, who came to Rwanda? So yes, Max was very happy about this opportunity - to meet the guys, inspire them, become an example for them, - said bin Sulayem.
Verstappen will serve community service in Rwanda, where the FIA awards ceremony will be held
