Manchester United is in advanced negotiations to attract the Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman. The Red Devils were close to the attraction of the Dutch national twice over the years, but the transfer has never taken place for real.
According to the media in the Netherlands, the English Vice President Ed Woodward has been already negotiating with the 27-year-old midfielder for a few months. It is assumed that his price is around 35 million pounds.
Soccernews.nl claims that the star of Roma is ready to leave the club analyzed by hockey tipsters after being on the team since 2013. United wanted Strootman a year ago but a series of injuries in the knee prevented the transfer.
Now the Dutchman left his problems behind and again took one of the key roles at Roma. Strootman is expected to replace Michael Carrick, who has not renewed his contract with the club analyzed by hockey tipsters yet.
