The shareholder in Monaco, Alessandro Proto, announced that Chelsea`s owner Roman Abramovich has refused an offer of 50 million euros for Jose Mourinho before the start of the season.
Currently, the position of Mourinho at Stamford Bridge does not seem secure after the poor performance of the team since the start of the season.
`We were willing to pay $50 million to Abramovich for Mourinho, but he rejected such a possibility.`, revealed Proto.
`Jose is definitely the best coach in the world.`, added the shareholder in Monaco.
`Roman Abramovich wanted 100 million for Mourinho. I don`t know how serious it was. Certainly not accepted our offer, which was for an amount of 50 million euros.`, said Alessandro Proto.
